Daniel Wilson was born and raised in small-town Jones, Oklahoma, and has since lived in several regions across the southwest. He graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2013 with a BA in accounting and soon after began working for one of the ten largest accounting firms in the U.S. – Moss Adams, PLLC in Albuquerque. Daniel remained in this position for four years, working in the tax, audit, and consulting departments.

After earning his CPA license in 2015 and CFE in 2016, Daniel joined Granite Mountain Accounting, where he currently partners in managing the business alongside his father-in-law Bill Baker, providing tax consulting and preparation, contract accounting, and small business consulting services. Daniel’s wife Ashley, whom he’s been married to for 14 years, also joined the family business in 2017.

Aside from his 15 years of experience in martial arts (which includes a black belt in Taekwondo), Daniel is a self-proclaimed outdoorsman who enjoys hunting in his spare time. He considers building a family with Ashley and their two children Ezekiel and Gwendolyn to be his greatest achievement, along with once making a hole-in-one at miniature golf.
